Writes a good article using various aspects of the story. Style: The story contains an interesting lead which hooks the reader. Quotations are either missing or incoherent ideas. Facts and events are accurate and reported with exceptional effectiveness. Grammar, spelling and punctuation are good.

The facts are complete and correct. Many details are included. Many active words are used.

News package rubric

Writes an insightful and creative article using various aspects of the story. Writes a good article using various aspects of the story. The article does not conclude abruptly. Demonstrates some knowledge of newspaper format: makes some use of inverted pyramid format, lead, quotes, facts no opinions , etc. The piece reads more like an interview than an article.
