Project Description This research project explores the individual leadership competences of international judges, international prosecutors, and international court administrators and their support staff at the International Criminal Court ICC located at The Hague, Netherlands. The approach to managing polarities highlights that such complex challenges do not have a right answer or a solution. In Nigeria, India, Colombia, Morocco and Syria, these five young people are leading education initiatives that not only help improve learning outcomes, but also build emotional resilience and social understanding and equip their peers with leadership and conflict transformation skills. All five speakers emphasized the need to support small-scale, local initiatives to ensure context-dependent programs are developed in consultation with the local community.
